| TITLE | The Meta Heuristics Scheduling Techniques and Virtualization of Resources in Cloud Computing |
|---|---|
| ABSTRACT | Cloud computing is one of the emerging burning buzzword area which provides the resources to the user as per their demand. The features like scalability, agility, minimised cost etc makes cloud computing different from the traditional computing systems. There are a wide range of topics for research in the field of cloud computing. Virtualization and scheduling are the major areas in which many developmental works are being carried out. The processing assets can be extensively used and administered properly by scheduling. Many clients or organizations can share a single resource or an application with the help of virtualization. The main aim of scheduling is to route the tasks to the correct resources which optimises at least one target. The NP hard problem can be solved using proper scheduling. The near optimal solution is obtained within a stipulated time with the help of metaheuristic scheduling techniques. In this paper we are doing a study on two major meta heuristic techniques – Genetic Algorithm (GA), Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) and also the various virtualization techniques used in cloud computing. |
