| TITLE | A Study on the Impact of E-Commerce on Consumer Behaviour and Business Performance |
|---|---|
| ABSTRACT | The rapid growth of e-commerce has significantly transformed traditional business models and consumer purchasing behaviour across the globe. This research paper examines the impact of e-commerce on consumer behaviour and business performance, with particular reference to online shopping frequency, convenience, pricing, trust, delivery, payment systems, and customer satisfaction. The study adopts a descriptive and analytical research design using primary data collected from 100 respondents through a structured questionnaire. Secondary data were gathered from academic journals, industry reports, and credible online sources. Percentage analysis and interpretative methods were used for data analysis. The findings reveal that e-commerce has positively influenced consumer convenience, time-saving, and access to variety, while challenges such as delivery delays, product quality concerns, and payment security persist. The study concludes that strengthening logistics, payment security, and customer service can further enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of e-commerce platforms. |
